Description

Understanding the many different methods of jewellery manufacture is important knowledge for
anyone in the supply chain. This course explains the various ways in which jewellery is made and how
this affects the quality, durability and appearance.

The impact on lead time and cost will also be covered. Delegates will learn about typical alloys used
in jewellery, techniques such as engraving and diamond milling and some fundamental rules about
working with gemstones. Approaches to costing and pricing in order to reach a commercial retail price
will also be covered.
