What you will learn?
This course offers a straightforward introduction to natural diamonds.
A diamond is a precious stone consisting of a clear and colourless crystalline form of pure carbon. It is the hardest naturally occurring substance; its name originates from the Greek “Adamas”, which means unconquerable
Whilst traditionally diamonds have been thought of as a natural mineral there is currently much discussion about “Synthetic” diamonds or “Lab Grown” diamonds . These have the same chemical properties as naturally occurring diamonds but are Laboratory grown products. This Course focuses purely on natural diamonds
By the end of the course you will understand where and how diamonds are formed and what the “4C’s” are that measure quality and determine the value of a diamond. You will also have the confidence to use this information when selling a diamond
